Cowgirl Capable Announces Transition to Arizona Nonprofit & Board of Directors

Cowgirl Capable is entering its next chapter

Founded on the belief that confidence, situational awareness, and the ability to defend oneself are life-changing skills, Cowgirl Capable has officially transitioned into an Arizona nonprofit organization and relocated its headquarters to Arizona.

This shift allows us to expand our mission:

To create safe, supportive, female-only training environments where women can rebuild confidence, learn practical self-defense skills, and rediscover their personal strength—especially those who have experienced domestic abuse (DA), sexual assault (SA), human trafficking, or exploitation.

We are honored to introduce our founding Board of Directors, a group of women committed to ethical leadership, survivor advocacy, safety education, and long-term impact. Director bios will be shared soon as part of our formal nonprofit launch.

Cowgirl Capable is now a federally recognized 501(c)(3), charitable organization.

As we build this foundation, our focus remains clear:

  • Sponsoring women in recovery to attend retreats and range days

  • Partnering with organizations that support survivors

  • Expanding access to trauma-informed, confidence-building training

This is just the beginning—and we’re grateful for the community standing with us as we grow.

With Grit, Grace and Gratitude,
