Cowgirl Capable is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. No goods or services are provided in exchange for contributions; therefore, your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Sponsoring Courage & Capability
A core focus of Cowgirl Capable is sponsoring women who have experienced abuse, assault, trafficking, or exploitation to attend a retreat or range day that fits their schedule and comfort level.
Sponsorships remove financial barriers and provide access to:
Safety education
Confidence-building experiences
Supportive female-only environments
Practical self-defense skills
Who qualifies for sponsorship?
Women who have experienced:
Domestic abuse (DA)
Sexual assault (SA)
Human trafficking or exploitation
Sponsorships are awarded through partner organization nominations to ensure dignity, privacy, and safety.
Can organizations nominate someone?
Yes. We actively partner with:
Survivor advocacy organizations
Shelters and recovery programs
Counseling centers
Faith-based or nonprofit recovery groups
Organizations may nominate a deserving woman for a Cowgirl Capable retreat or range day.
How do you ensure safety?
All Cowgirl Capable programs are:
Female-only safe spaces
Led by experienced, trauma-aware instructors, and PTSD survivors
Designed to meet women where they are—emotionally and physically
Focused on consent, confidence, and capability
A cowgirl stands up for what’s right, even if she stands alone.
